Now that fall is in full swing, there are so many fun things to do to embrace this beautiful season. The weather is perfect, the scenery is gorgeous, and the activities are endless. I feel like it just now hit me that it’s actually fall. Here we are at the end of October and I’m finally acknowledging the weather. It’s only just now getting cooler, which I’m really happy about! It’s so pretty outside, so I recommend getting out the door and trying something new! Today I’m sharing my fall bucket list, I hope you enjoy!

Fun Fall Nail Polish Colors

10 / 19 / 1610 / 18 / 16

Now that fall is officially here, it’s time to start transitioning your wardrobe and accessories to the darker, more neutral colors. The summer is all about bright and colorful patterns, but fall is more laid back, sophisticated colors in more neutral tones. Besides changing up your clothes for fall, you can also change up your nails! In the summer, my go to was always blues or corals for the brighter color. Now that it’s fall, there are so many cute options for new nail colors! Today I’ve rounded up some of my favorite picks!

Fading to Fall Neutrals

10 / 7 / 1610 / 6 / 16

Woah- fall is actually here, (where did the time go?) and while I’m definitely glad for the new season and holidays to kick off, it’s a little sad to think that summer has completely come to a close. And I don’t just mean no school or fun beach trips, but summer style is now evolving into the fall colors. In my last outfit post, I mentioned having to put away some of my summer stripes and moving to the fall wardrobe. Fall style to me consists of lighter, more neutral colors instead of the summer brights. Today I’m wearing a basic fall outfit that I dressed up with one of my favorite new necklaces– read on for details!

What I Got in My Rocksbox

9 / 21 / 169 / 21 / 16

Have you guys ever heard of Rocksbox? It’s a jewelry subscription service where you fill out a style survey, pick out some jewelry from the website into your Wishlist, and then get assigned a stylist that will create a box filled with three different types of cute jewelry! I tried it for the first time this past month and was really happy with what my stylist picked out! My jewelry was a mix of different styles: one I really hoped to get and I absolutely loved, one piece was something I had seen on others before but never worn before, and one piece was something I would have never picked out for myself but I thought was really unique!

The Friday Five

9 / 2 / 169 / 2 / 16

Wow, it’s been another crazy week. It seems as if I just get busier and busier! This week I’ve had so many tests and quizzes and I’m really happy it’s finally Friday!  This weekend, I have my first cross country meet of the season! It’s in Memphis, TN, and it’s a night meet. We run at about 8 pm, so thankfully it won’t be so hot out by that time. I’m super nervous but also really excited! I was in a boot all summer so I wasn’t able to run much, so I’ve been just getting back into training. I’m glad I can start running again! This week I found some super fun links, read on to learn more!

Backpack Essentials for Back to School

8 / 5 / 168 / 20 / 16

To me, back to school is way more fun when you have some adorable things to brighten up your supplies and backpack. Target has always been my go to for cute notebooks and pencils, but just recently I have been obsessed with bando.com. I want to buy out the whole site, everything is so cute. They have planners, notebooks, pencils, pens, sticky notes, and so much more. I just recently ordered my new agenda from there (check out my post on my planner picks here)  and I really wanted to buy a sticker set to go with it. This post is a big collection of some super cute things for your backpack, but be warned, a lot of it will probably be from Bando!

July Favorites

8 / 3 / 168 / 19 / 16

Wow, is July really over? It’s crazy how fast summer zoomed by. School starts in less than a week for me, and it seems like just yesterday I finished my final exams and got out for summer break. As sad as it is to realize that July is over, today I bring you my top five picks from this month. Some of my favorite things I’ve been using and loving lately. I’ve been reading a lot this month, because I started the Harry Potter series and haven’t been able to put them down, even though I need to read my summer reading instead. I’ve also been finding a lot of delicious recipes and the other day I decided to get my baking tools out and try one- it was amazing. Read on for more of my July favorites!

Hello everyone! I know it has been forever since my last post, and I’m super sorry about that! I have been really busy lately because ever since I got back from camp, I have been trying to get all of my summer reading and assignments done before school starts back. I start August 8, which is so soon! I’m not looking forward to going back to school at all, but one thing I am looking forward to is my new agenda arriving! I just ordered it, and I cant wait to get it! If you are looking at different agenda options and haven’t gotten one yet, I would recommend it. It really helps keep you organized, something that I’m going to try to do a lot better at this school year! Below are a few of my favorite planners, enjoy!

My Daily Ab Workout

7 / 7 / 168 / 19 / 16

Hello everyone! So this summer I’ve had so much more time to do different things, and one thing I’ve gotten more interested in is fitness and exersise. I’ve always been a big sports person but I rarely actually went to the gym or did much outside of the sports practices themselves. But now that I’ve tried working out more and going to the gym often, I really like it! Today I’m sharing with you my ab workout. I try to do some sort of ab workout everyday, and then every other day or so I do my harder, longer one, which I’m sharing today. This workout doesn’t use any gym equipment, so it can be done in the comfort of your room. Or even better, find a beach towel or yoga mat and do this outside in the fresh air! Read on to discover my ab workout!

Current Shoe Favorites

7 / 5 / 167 / 9 / 16

Hello everyone! Since school is coming up soon, (too soon!) lots of people (myself included) will be on the hunt for new school clothes, shoes, and accessories to wear on their way back to school for the fall. I rounded up a few shoe options I’ve been eyeing recently and they are linked down below for you to check out! My top favorites would have to be the two strap birkenstocks, because they are sooo comfortable and they are really easy to pair with lots of different outfits; the brown ugg high tops because I know I can wear them with a ton of different things and they will be great everyday shoes for school, and the brown espadrilles because they are such a cute shoe to slip on with any outfit!

Indoor Summer Activities

6 / 2 / 16

Hello everyone!I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I last posted, I had lots of studying to do during exam week and then I had to turn my computer in to the school so I haven’t been able to post anything for a while! I can’t believe summer is finally here! I had been waiting for it for so long and time just zoomed by (which is a good thing). Today’s post is about fun things you can do while staying inside this summer. Recently I found out that I have a stress fracture in my shin, so I can’t do as much as I had planned to do this summer. No sports practices or running for the next few weeks! With that in mind, I started thinking of some things to do while inside over the summer, so read on to discover some fun ideas!

Making Macarons

4 / 24 / 164 / 24 / 16

Hello everyone! Today’s post is a quick recipe I found on Pinterest. I always think macarons are so cute and they look like they taste so good! For the longest time I thought macaroons and macarons were the same thing, but I just found out that macaroons are actually completely different! And this whole time I was calling them by the wrong name! Anyway, I’ve never actually tried one myself, but looking at gorgeous pictures of colorful stacks of them make me want to go buy a box! I learned that there are actually two different ways to make them, the French way or the Italian way. The French way involves fewer steps and not as many tools, but you have to wait 12-24 hours for your egg whites to age. The Italian method uses more tools and is a bit harder. But it doesn’t take as long as the French method. Both methods produce some delicious looking macarons! Read on to discover how to make them!
