Hello everyone! Today’s post is about one of my new finds: lemon water. Of course I’ve heard of it before, but I never really drank it until just recently. I really want to make a habit of drinking it every morning to start my day. I’ve heard that it’s really beneficial and has so many rejuvenating qualities! One of my main things I want to start doing is having a cup of lemon water by my bed or in my bathroom. That way, when I wake up in the morning, I can go ahead and start my day with a fresh cup of it! I also have found some fun ways to drink it throughout the day, even when I’m at school and am not at the place I can go cut up a lemon ;). Keep reading for more tips!

Classic Preppy Look
Every year at my school, we have a “Preppy Day” where, on the Friday of a big home football game, we all dress up really preppy and wear classic outfits or uniforms. Other than that one day a year, my school isn’t preppy at all. After that day, I never wear anything like that the rest of the year. This week, when I was trying to think of what to wear, I realized I had basically nothing because I never dress that way! Thankfully, I was able to borrow a few things and my outfit turned out pretty good! Although I would never wear this otherwise, it was fun to dress up in a classic preppy outfit for a day! The Friday Five
Wow, it sure has been awhile since my last Friday Five! Towards the end of spring I was busy with exam prep and lots of studying, over the summer I didn’t have my computer so posts didn’t go up as regularly, and my first two weeks of school have been so hectic and busy! Excuses aside, I’m here with a long awaited Friday Fives post for the first time in forever. This week has been another crazy week. Going back into school, I was expecting to start off slow and not be too busy. I was so wrong! I had three tests and two quizzes and homework every night- and that was just for the first week! Now that I’ve sort of developed a routine and a feel for how things are going to go this year, I’ve been able to settle down and start blogging again. Without further ado, read on for my Friday Fives!
Lunch Ideas for Back to School
I always bring my lunch to school, but there are some mornings I have absolutely no idea what to bring and I’m rushing so I end up throwing some random, unhealthy things into my lunchbox. This year I want to go ahead and have a bunch of options in mind so that I can already have an idea of what I can take for lunch each day! I’m going to try to be healthier this year and not turn to the junk food options when I’m hungry. This post is about healthy lunch options for back to school!
Neutral Dress + Pops of Color
Hello everyone! Long time, no outfit post! I’ve been super busy with school starting back and I’ve had barely any time to work on posts or do anything, really. I’ve been so focused on homework and studying that I haven’t been able to shoot any photos. But this weekend I was able to find time and I was really happy with how they turned out! My dress is really simple, it’s just white with hundreds of tiny gray dots all over it. My absolute favorite part of the dress is that it has pockets! I’ve never had a dress with pockets before and it’s so convenient to pop your phone or wallet in there and not have to carry it around. Since my dress is so neutral, I brightened up the outfit with some fun, colorful jewelry. I’ve been loving rings lately, and today I’m wearing a variety of different styles. My bracelets are a mix of strings and beads, read on to find out more details!
Backpack Essentials for Back to School
To me, back to school is way more fun when you have some adorable things to brighten up your supplies and backpack. Target has always been my go to for cute notebooks and pencils, but just recently I have been obsessed with bando.com. I want to buy out the whole site, everything is so cute. They have planners, notebooks, pencils, pens, sticky notes, and so much more. I just recently ordered my new agenda from there (check out my post on my planner picks here) and I really wanted to buy a sticker set to go with it. This post is a big collection of some super cute things for your backpack, but be warned, a lot of it will probably be from Bando!
July Favorites
Wow, is July really over? It’s crazy how fast summer zoomed by. School starts in less than a week for me, and it seems like just yesterday I finished my final exams and got out for summer break. As sad as it is to realize that July is over, today I bring you my top five picks from this month. Some of my favorite things I’ve been using and loving lately. I’ve been reading a lot this month, because I started the Harry Potter series and haven’t been able to put them down, even though I need to read my summer reading instead. I’ve also been finding a lot of delicious recipes and the other day I decided to get my baking tools out and try one- it was amazing. Read on for more of my July favorites!
Planner Picks 2016
Hello everyone! I know it has been forever since my last post, and I’m super sorry about that! I have been really busy lately because ever since I got back from camp, I have been trying to get all of my summer reading and assignments done before school starts back. I start August 8, which is so soon! I’m not looking forward to going back to school at all, but one thing I am looking forward to is my new agenda arriving! I just ordered it, and I cant wait to get it! If you are looking at different agenda options and haven’t gotten one yet, I would recommend it. It really helps keep you organized, something that I’m going to try to do a lot better at this school year! Below are a few of my favorite planners, enjoy!
