Hello everyone! This is my first how to/DIY post in a while- if at all- and I’m really excited to show you how to make some super cute printed whales! Back in eighth grade, my computer class was taught how to use a website called Pixlr, where you can edit and tweak photos and do some super cool things to them! I learned so many tricks to that website, and use it all the time! The other day, I was trying to figure out a design for our class t-shirts for my school. I had an idea in mind but wanted to see how it would look on the computer instead of a rough sketch. I played around on Pixlr until I finally created what I had in mind for the t-shirts, and then I started thinking. It would be super cute to take the Vineyard Vines whale logo and add fun prints to it! I’ve seen the printed whales everywhere but never knew how to create them. Read on for instructions on how to create your own printed whales!

The Simplest Hair Tutorial EVER
Have you noticed that in almost all of my outfit photos I have the same hairstyle? If my hair isn’t in braids or a ponytail, it’s most likely in the same exact style every single day. It’s super quick and you can do it with just a ponytail holder and a brush if needed. The braid in it is super cute and even though it’s so effortless, it looks so good! Read on for instructions on how to create this braided crossover look!

Read on to discover how to do two side french braids!
The Friday Five
This Friday is probably the best in a while! That’s because it’s my last day before I get out for Spring Break! I have to wait just a few more hours. But I’m so excited to finally be free- for a whole week! This week was actually a pretty great week! Since we are about to be out of school for a while, most classes were pretty relaxed, and we didn’t start any new lessons. I spent this week stress free, trying to get all my work over and done with so I can enjoy my week of nothing! This week I found a lot of great things to add to my Friday Five, so read on!
Snack Option: Toasted Coconut
I’ve found out recently that I actually do like certain types of coconut. I don’t like it on cakes or shredded, but toasted coconut is so so good! The best brand to buy is Dang. I think it tastes amazing. This snack is healthy and coconut is beneficial for you, but it also tastes surprisingly good! I think it’s also not too messy and you can carry around the little package of toasted coconut in your lunchbox or purse or whenever you’re on the go. You can buy already toasted-coconut, but you can also make your own! There are so many recipes and ways to make this easy snack. I can’t wait to try making it on my own!
What is your favorite easy snack? Have you ever tried toasted coconut? Let me know below!
Easy Breakfast- Blueberry Mug Cake
Sometimes in the morning I get so rushed and I don’t have enough time to make a nice fancy breakfast. Even eggs take too much time if I’m in a big rush. Something I’ve recently found to be a quick and easy breakfast meal is a breakfast mug cake. It’s really simple, just mix your ingredients and pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. I’ve seen a lot of different recipes for mug cakes, but I’ve only tried the blueberry kind. I found this recipe from Pinterest and have been using it ever since!
5 Quick and Easy Hairstyles
There are some days when we are in such a rush there’s barely any time to do anything to our hair. At least, it always seems like that to me, so I usually swap out between a few select hairstyles that I like. None of these take more than ten minutes for me, and I have a lot of long, thick hair. Definitely try these hairstyles out if you’re ever in a rush!
1. Divide your hair by your part. Brush it all so it’s completely untangled. Take strands from each side of your head, then cross them over to the back. Braid them down the middle, and secure with a ponytail holder. I usually make the pieces I use pretty big, but you can vary the size. If you use small strands from each side, try braiding or twisting them for extra detail.
