Every year at my school, we have a “Preppy Day” where, on the Friday of a big home football game, we all dress up really preppy and wear classic outfits or uniforms. Other than that one day a year, my school isn’t preppy at all. After that day, I never wear anything like that the rest of the year. This week, when I was trying to think of what to wear, I realized I had basically nothing because I never dress that way! Thankfully, I was able to borrow a few things and my outfit turned out pretty good! Although I would never wear this otherwise, it was fun to dress up in a classic preppy outfit for a day! My shirt is a blue and white striped button down that I tucked into a simple black skirt. This watch is from Fossil, but I borrowed it, and it’s a really old style, so I linked a similar one. The other jewelry I’m wearing are just a simple pearl necklace and bracelet, and then some pearl earrings. I’m wearing my white high top converse with white socks peeking out. Converse are super comfortable and white matches with everything! The only thing bad that happened is that I lost one of my big (real!) pearl earrings somewhere throughout the day. I reached up to my ear and felt one missing, and I have no idea where it dropped out. Other than that, Preppy Day was a success. It was fun to get to dress up in something I wouldn’t normally wear!
