Hello everyone!I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I last posted, I had lots of studying to do during exam week and then I had to turn my computer in to the school so I haven’t been able to post anything for a while! I can’t believe summer is finally here! I had been waiting for it for so long and time just zoomed by (which is a good thing). Today’s post is about fun things you can do while staying inside this summer. Recently I found out that I have a stress fracture in my shin, so I can’t do as much as I had planned to do this summer. No sports practices or running for the next few weeks! With that in mind, I started thinking of some things to do while inside over the summer, so read on to discover some fun ideas!

Mini Cupcake Recipe
Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a happy hump day. We’re halfway through the school week! Yesterday I decided to make some cupcakes for my friend’s birthday. But I didn’t want to make a whole batch of 24 cupcakes, just one or two of them. So I tried out this recipe for single serving cupcakes. I had planned to follow the recipe and make two regular sized cupcakes, but something came up. I couldn’t use the regular muffin pan like I had planned. I should have checked before I made up the batter, but I already had everything ready to cook. So instead I found our mini muffin pan and decided to use that. And they actually turned out great! The batter makes about 5 or 6 mini cupcakes, and they turned out great!

Making Macarons
Hello everyone! Today’s post is a quick recipe I found on Pinterest. I always think macarons are so cute and they look like they taste so good! For the longest time I thought macaroons and macarons were the same thing, but I just found out that macaroons are actually completely different! And this whole time I was calling them by the wrong name! Anyway, I’ve never actually tried one myself, but looking at gorgeous pictures of colorful stacks of them make me want to go buy a box! I learned that there are actually two different ways to make them, the French way or the Italian way. The French way involves fewer steps and not as many tools, but you have to wait 12-24 hours for your egg whites to age. The Italian method uses more tools and is a bit harder. But it doesn’t take as long as the French method. Both methods produce some delicious looking macarons! Read on to discover how to make them!

I love Joe Cotton t-shirts and I have a light red one with the signature logo on the back and pocket. It was perfect for this look! Read on to see more details of my outfit.
Snail Mail
Hello everyone! Today is a boring day filled with school, tests, and lots of homework. But there are only 28 more days left of school, so that’s definitely a plus. It seems like everyone only calls, emails, or texts these days, and letters are forgotten. But there are so many cute stationary options out there and so many cute things you could do to make your letters beautiful! And just think about how great it would be to open your mailbox and find a bright, colorful letter waiting for you. Read on to discover more about being a pen pal.

The Friday Five
Hello everyone! It sure has been a while since my last Friday Five, and I’m so sorry about that! This week has actually been a pretty good week! I changed my alarm so I could sleep later, and I’m not as tired anymore! I didn’t have a crazy amount of tests, so my homework wasn’t a huge overload. And I’m just looking ahead to summer and counting down the days! There are only 31 actual school days left of the semester! How great is that! We only have about 5 weeks of school left and I couldn’t be more excited! Down below I have some of my favorite things that I saw or that happened throughout the week- read on!

Having a Healthy Night Routine
Hello everyone! Today’s post is about having a healthy night routine. Sometimes my nights can get so busy and stressful if they are filled with homework and practices and preparing for the next day. It can get to be ten or eleven o’clock before I even go to sleep, and then the next morning I wake up tired and groggy. Recently I’ve (kinda) been able to manage my work and get all of my homework done before it gets too late, so I can relax the rest of the night. Here are a few tips and tricks you can try to have a better night routine.

Flouncy Pink Shirt + Dessi Phone Case//Fashion Feature
Hello everyone! I’ve been loving this cool spring weather lately. It’s not so hot that you have to wear tank tops and are sweating all the time, but there is no longer a need for any jeans or sweaters. I’ve been doing a little bit of spring shopping this past week, and I’ve found a lot of cute things! One of my favorite things was a flouncy, light pink shirt. I usually don’t wear pink at all, I don’t really like the color and don’t own any pink things. But this shirt is so cute and it goes with everything! That’s why I paired it with Nike shorts and braids to create a look that is casual but still cute! And two of my favorite things lately are my two adorable phone cases from Dessi Designs! They are so cute! Read on to discover my outfit and the phone cases!

Gray Malin’s Home Tour
Hello everyone! Today’s post is a home tour on one of the prettiest homes I’ve ever seen! I love all of the colors and patterns used in the home. Gray Malin is a photographer and interior designer who has his home tour up on his website. I recently discovered his site and all of his features and designs are so pretty! I love looking at all of the home tours on his site, whether it’s his home or the homes of other bloggers and designers. They are all so pretty and bright and can give great inspiration! There seems to be a common theme in these types of bright, colorful houses. Usually the walls and furniture is a neutral or laid back color, like white or gray. But then all of the decor and accessories are what give the pops of color! Adding pink pillows or blue cabinets or red chairs add charm and whimsy to the whole home.
