Fruit Infused Water Benefits + Combos

2 / 7 / 168 / 20 / 16

Drinking more water was one of my New Year’s Resolutions, and so far I’ve been doing well keeping up with it. I almost always drink my whole water bottle and sometimes fill it up and drink a second bottle. It can get a little bland though, because water alone doesn’t have any flavor or taste to it! I started adding some lemon slices to my ice water some mornings to add some taste.  After doing that for a bit, I started thinking of some other great combinations that would taste well with ice water. There are so many different fruits that would make your water taste even better. Another great thing about this is that because it’s only fruit and water, it’s healthy and there are so many health benefits and it can serve as a detox to flush out unwanted fluids in the body.

Top Ten Quotes to Live By

2 / 6 / 163 / 8 / 16

I love finding inspiring quotes on Pinterest and thinking about them throughout the day. They motivate me and make me think about what I want to do and how I want to be. If you want, you can check out my other inspiration on my Pinterest board. But here are some of my all time favorites. I also love when they are made with a cute font or background that is pleasing to the eye. It makes a really neat background or wallpaper on a computer or phone, so you can read them throughout the day and be inspired.

The Friday Five

2 / 5 / 163 / 8 / 16

This week seemed to go by so fast! It seems like only yesterday I was dragging myself out of the bed because it was Monday. This week was filled to the brim with soccer, soccer soccer. We had practice on Monday and Tuesday that lasted for two hours. This was because we were getting prepared for the North Half game on Wednesday. After a lot of hard work and determination, we won the game 6-0! This was the first time in school history that the girls’ soccer team ever went to State. This Saturday, we’ll play to see who is the best team in Mississippi! Other than soccer, I had some tests and quizzes in school, but not too much. This week was pretty laid back. I’m so glad it’s Friday!

The Pumped Up Playlist

2 / 4 / 163 / 8 / 16

I love listening to music. It’s great for bus rides on the way to sports trips. I like my playlist filled with songs that really get me pumped up and excited. These are loud, fast songs that get me ready and energized for the game. I like getting on the bus and curling up with my blanket and earbuds for the way there. And usually, in the locker room and during the warmup, there is always music to get the team pumped up. Here are my favorite pump up songs on my playlist!

Book Recommendation: Wonder

2 / 3 / 163 / 8 / 16

I love reading, and over the past weekend I had some time to do just that. I started and finished the book Wonder, and I absolutely loved it! It was so good, and I would definitely call it a favorite. It’s very moving and inspiring and it changes the way you look at people. The boy in the book has a very severe facial disorder, so he gets judged a lot. In the inside, he is a regular 10 year old boy, but no one bothers to get to know him. Eventually, he makes friends and people learn how he really is. The author inspires the readers to “Choose Kind” and be nice to everyone. I would definitely recommend this book, it’s a great read!

Healthy Snacks

2 / 2 / 163 / 8 / 16

Eating snacks throughout the day is a habit. I usually have lunch at around 11:30 at school,  and get hungry later. That means I want a bite to eat before soccer practice later in the afternoon. The thing is, I can’t be eating any unhealthy snacks right before I go out to practice for two hours! Some good options are fruits and other foods that provide protein, since I would be about to go out and run around. I made a list of some delicious and easy snacks for when you’re hungry and on the go.

February Bucket List

2 / 1 / 162 / 4 / 16

I have my new bucket list ready for the new month! I got most of my things done last month, but there were a couple I failed to complete. Hopefully I can do better this month and maybe even complete my whole list! Last month, I made my bucket list halfway into January, so I didn’t have enough time to do everything. I’m going to try my best to complete everything this month, although some I might not can get to doing, I’ll see!
