fall 2021 bucket list

The day has finally come. Today marks the autumn equinox, it’s 73 degrees outside, and fall is in the air. Ugh I’m so happy. I walked out to my car this morning to head to a coffee shop to do some homework and stepped into… cool air? It’s like the weather changed overnight. I did my homework while sipping a chai latte, walked to class with a light breeze blowing, and found a recipe for pumpkin bread to make this weekend- it’s been a good day. Haha if you can’t tell by now, I am very happy for this fall weather, and I really want to take full advantage of this season and all it has to offer. I feel like I always make a fall bucket list and get so excited but never actually do anything on it, and this year that’s going to change. I tried to make my bucket list realistic and think of things I’ll actually do, and hopefully I can convince my friends/roommates to come with me as we check things off 😉. Read on for my fall 2021 bucket list!

I won’t go into everything on the list, but a few things I’m most excited for:

Have a board game night // I LOVE playing board games. I think it’s so fun to get a group together and spend a few hours playing card/board games. Everyone is off their phones and in the moment, and it can get competitive! I really want to get a new game, and I’ve heard Unsolved Case Files is really fun. It looks perfect for fall, with the mystery aspect!

Go to a haunted house // I used to never go to haunted houses, I would get so scared and work myself up for no reason before I even went inside, haha. But as long as I’m with someone I can hang onto the whole time (my dad, hehe), it’s actually so fun. The local police department in my hometown puts on a really scary one each year, and I’ve also gone to a huge haunted maze in Memphis that was so fun.

Update my fall wardrobe // I’ve come to realize that my whole closet is workout clothes or graphic tees, and barely any “nice” or cuter fall clothes. I’ve been looking online and have found so many cute tops and jeans. I want to get a few cute sweaters/flannels, and I’m on the hunt for a perfect pair of jeans. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Go apple picking // I’ve never actually done this before, but I’ve always wanted to, haha. I need to look up if there is any place near me that has an apple orchard to go apple picking. I think it would be so fun to pick apples and make an apple pie afterwards.

Bake fall recipes // I’m planning to make a post about all the recipes I want to make this fall, but I have been super into baking recently. I love trying out new desserts and sweets, but I also loveeee soups and warm fall meals. Keep up with my recipes over on Instagram @eatsbyaddie!

Let me know what you’re most looking forward to this fall!
