If you know me, you know how much I love summer. It’s my favorite season by far, and I always mourn the end of pool days, long nights, and a permanent tan. However, once school starts back and the summer trips come to a close, I always get so ready for fall. I live in Mississippi, where fall doesn’t start until much later, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming of 60 degree temps and colorful leaves. Sharing my fall bucket list in case you need some inspo for this season too!
Fall Bucket List:
- Watch more football: I’m determined to get more into football this year… I’m planning to go to as many home games as possible, and I’ve joined a fantasy league!
- Go camping: Even if it’s just a one-night trip at a campsite nearby, I think this would be so fun once the weather cools down a bit!
- Try a seasonal drink: I’m dying to try a salted maple latte, and I’m so intrigued by banana bread lattes too.
- Play mahjong on balconies downtown: My town has lots of restaurant balconies around the Square, so my friends and I want to start playing mahjong there more! It’s a great way to be outside, be social, and have a drink/bite with friends.
- Dancing With the Stars watch parties: This started last week and I am beyond excited for this season. There are already so many great top contenders!
- Play soccer every week: We’ve been playing pickup soccer games on Thursdays and it is always the highlight of my week! I played all of high school, so it’s making me realize how much I missed it.
- Make a new soup recipe: I’m trying to get on my cooking grind this year, and I love making soups! I have an ongoing list of new soup recipes to try. First up is lemon-y dill chicken soup!
- Host a bonfire/make s’mores: We have a firepit in our backyard, and my roommate and I love hosting bonfires with our friends!
- Go antique shopping/thrifting: I never think to go thrifting in town, but I feel like this would be a fun activity for a rainy day with nothing to do. I also love the idea of antiquing for unique home decor for our house!
- Scrapbook summer 26 memories: I really want to get more into scrapbooking, and this would be such a fun craft night with friends! To print out pictures and collect lots of receipts/trinkets from different memories throughout this summer.
