2023 goals + intentions

I know I’m over a week late with this post, but I always love reflecting on my goals and having these posts to look back on! It’s still crazy to me that we are in 2023, I feel like last year flew by. I finished up my junior year of college, went on a family trip to the mountains, nannied in New York all summer, started my senior year and a new internship, and finished my capstone class- it was a big year! I have a feeling 2023 will be even more exciting tho. I’m studying abroad over spring break, graduating in May, and (hopefully) finding a job and moving to a new city…scary but exciting at the same time. I always like the idea of a new year and a fresh start, and I’ve been trying to stay motivated to start new habits and add some new lifestyle changes. Read on for some of my top goals of the year!

  • Consistent: staying accountable for my goals, new routines, and habits
  • Rooted: in Christ and firm in my faith/relationships
  • Yes: be open to new opportunities and get out of my comfort zone

  • Read the entire bible this year
  • Create consistent morning and night routines
  • Do a digital detox each Sunday- no social media
  • Get an internship + job with a company I love
  • Read more finance books and learn how to budget
  • Only buy one coffee out per week
  • Focus on ingredients and whole foods
  • Try new workouts and be consistent with pilates
  • Join a new club or organization
  • Reach out to people and make new friends

  • daily pilates + foam rolling
  • at least 80 oz of water
  • eating balanced meals
  • fruit/veggies every day
  • more outdoor walks, even in the cold
  • journal prompts and reflections
  • skincare + moisturizing daily

This year, I really want to focus on personal growth and having a strong mentality with my goals and lifestyle. I don’t want to let each day slip by and just float through each week. I want to prioritize my habits and healthy lifestyle changes: stretching, walks, fresh air, whole foods, skincare, etc. I also want to focus on my relationship with Christ and deepening my friendships/making new ones. It’s going to be a good year, I’m excited!
