Hello everyone! Sorry there haven’t been too many posts recently, I’ve just been enjoying my Spring Break and freedom! Even though I’m not doing much, it’s still great to be able to have a week off and relax. During my break, I’ve been doing a lot of photography and practicing taking photos. I use the app called VSCO to edit my photos, I love the different features and filters that there are to offer. You can check out my photos here! Read on to discover how to use VSCO!
This Friday is probably the best in a while! That’s because it’s my last day before I get out for Spring Break! I have to wait just a few more hours. But I’m so excited to finally be free- for a whole week! This week was actually a pretty great week! Since we are about to be out of school for a while, most classes were pretty relaxed, and we didn’t start any new lessons. I spent this week stress free, trying to get all my work over and done with so I can enjoy my week of nothing! This week I found a lot of great things to add to my Friday Five, so read on!
Some weeks the meaningless, boring days seem to just drag by as we finish up the school year. But other days, the day seems to just fall together perfectly and nothing goes wrong. You can make those perfect days happen every day, it’s all up to you. If you can think positive and have the mindset that your day will be great, it really will be! There are so many things that could go wrong, but you can’t let them bother you. No matter how stressful your week may be, pick a day to make sure everything goes right, it’s all up to you.
Hello everyone! I know I didn’t have a Friday Five last week, I was super busy and never had the time to write anything out. I’m so glad this week is finally over, now it means only seven more days until I’m out for Spring Break! This afternoon I have a track meet, and this weekend I have four soccer games in Tennessee, so I’m really busy! I just found a few things that I liked throughout the week to show today- enjoy!
I am so so excited for Spring Break, I honestly cannot wait! For my school its only a week and a half away, and I’m so ready to be out of school! I don’t really think I’ll be doing anything interesting while I’m out of school. I’ll probably just catch up on some sleep, try making some new recipes, and relax. Although I’m not going anywhere far away, that doesn’t mean you can’t! Coming up is a list of fun places and things to do during Spring Break.
Hello everyone! I’m so sorry that I didn’t have any posts up last week. It was so busy for me and I had so many things to do! Summer and Spring Break are coming up, so everyone is probably going to start trying to get into shape and get ready for the hot season! That’s why today’s post is about a quick and (sorta) easy ab workout to do when you have an extra ten minutes to spare. Just find some space on the floor to work and that’s all you need!
Hope this was helpful! Just do this sometime during your day everyday until you get results and get fit for summer!
Hi everyone! For today’s post I decided to group together some of my favorite apps that I use on my phone. I use these apps for different things, whether it’s editing photos, making fashion collages, or listening to music. Read on to discover my top five favorite apps on my phone!
Wow, this week sure has gone by fast! It seems like these past few weeks have just zoomed by, which I guess is a good thing. Only about three more weeks until Spring Break! This week was super busy for me. I had lots of homework, tests and quizzes. I also got back to playing with my club soccer team this week, and I also had track practice every day! I’m so glad it’s Friday so I can catch up on some rest! I have a soccer game tomorrow morning but then after that my weekend will be absolutely free! Here are a few of my favorite things I saw throughout the week.
One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to drink more water, and I think it was definitely a good goal to keep in mind. Water has a lot of benefits and I hadn’t been drinking as much as I should, so it was important that I started drinking more of it. So far, I’ve been doing pretty well at drinking water throughout the day, but I should definitely drink more of it. I’m either not thirsty or never think about it, but I need to start remembering. Water can help me stay hydrated through all the sports I play, so I will be prepared for track that I have after school. Water can also help keep your skin clear, flush out toxins in the body, and can satisfy hunger while also being the healthier option. I would also recommend trying different fruits to put in it, that way it’s not plain water all the time. Another fun thing to help you drink more water is to have a cute water bottle. I have a Camelbak bottle, but I also really like the S’Well water bottles, especially the “Santorini” one in the middle.
What’s your favorite water bottle? Do you drink water? Comment below!
I’ve found out recently that I actually do like certain types of coconut. I don’t like it on cakes or shredded, but toasted coconut is so so good! The best brand to buy is Dang. I think it tastes amazing. This snack is healthy and coconut is beneficial for you, but it also tastes surprisingly good! I think it’s also not too messy and you can carry around the little package of toasted coconut in your lunchbox or purse or whenever you’re on the go. You can buy already toasted-coconut, but you can also make your own! There are so many recipes and ways to make this easy snack. I can’t wait to try making it on my own!
What is your favorite easy snack? Have you ever tried toasted coconut? Let me know below!
Hello and happy Valentine’s Day! Hope everyone had a great day. Today’s post is about a super effective way to get to sleep faster. I’ve always had trouble getting to sleep sometimes if I’m super busy at school or have a lot going on. I found this method from Pinterest and it works wonders! I use it whenever I need to get to sleep and it hasn’t failed to get me to sleep yet! It even works if you just are in the middle of a stressful day and need to calm down and empty your mind. I even did this at school right before I had a presentation and it helped get rid of my nerves. This method is the best!
Sometimes in the morning I get so rushed and I don’t have enough time to make a nice fancy breakfast. Even eggs take too much time if I’m in a big rush. Something I’ve recently found to be a quick and easy breakfast meal is a breakfast mug cake. It’s really simple, just mix your ingredients and pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. I’ve seen a lot of different recipes for mug cakes, but I’ve only tried the blueberry kind. I found this recipe from Pinterest and have been using it ever since!
This week seemed to fly by, it’s crazy to think it’s already Friday. I’m not complaining though, hopefully this weekend I can catch up on some sleep. This week was thankfully not very busy. I didn’t have an overload of homework and soccer season is over. I went to track again and I started getting back into the routine of training. Our first meet is in just a few weeks! I had a few things that I saw and absolutely loved this week. Read on to see my Friday Five.
Greece looks like an absolutely beautiful place to visit. Ever since a few years ago when my camp counselor told me her dream vacation was to go to Greece, I have been obsessed with it. Greece just seems so perfect! The scenery and beaches are beautiful, the places to stay are amazing, and there is great food! Everything about Greece is just so colorful and vibrant! Enjoy some pictures of Greece and maybe plan your spring break trip to here!
